The popular application offers a street view in its map application. The couple felt that this view that is offered in the application was a violation of their privacy rights. They filed the case out of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania court system. The couple says that the main violation of their privacy rights was that the street view shows a picture of their pool. They say that in order for Google Maps to have photographed that picture if they had entered their property, and had ignored their “No Trespassing” sign.
